December Business Agent Report: Negotiations Report

·         Federal Marine – Negotiations have begun

·         Dundas Trucking – Negotiations have begun

• CAA (Conciliation) – Members have been on strike since October 29, 2021. CAA has not confirmed willingness to come back to the table.
• Kaumeyer Paper – Looking to start negotiations in January 2022
• Nartech – Company has requested to start negotiations a bit early.  Looking at dates in late February or early March 2022
• Taylor Chrysler – Looking for a 1yr extension.  Will address in January

·         Purolator Courier – Still waiting on new dates and location

·         Wolsley

·         Young Drivers – Proposal meeting set for January 9^th and negotiations set to start on January 16^th

·         CO-FO Mobil Mix – Offer turned down by 100%

·         Steed & Evans – 1^st set of negotiations.  Company wants to include vaccination policy in the Collective Agreement. Our answer is NO.  Next meeting is in January.

·         Hallcon – Proposal sheets mailed out to members for the 3 yards (Windsor, London and Sarnia). Dates set for January.

·         Tri-County Training – Negotiating a 1yr extension as the owners have decided to close April 30^th 2022.

·         Cardinal Courier – December 9^th & 10^th.  Negotiations going well.  Should have a deal soon.

·         International Logistics – (In conjunction with L938) Waiting on Dates.  C.A. Expiry January 15^th 2021
