UPS Windsor: They started it all

Today I had the pleasure of having breakfast with these UPS retirees. It was awesome to see them. These are some of the originals hired on by UPS back in the checker cab days.

Starting on the right side, in the black shirt is, FRANK JARVIS. He was the second person hired and just retired with 45 years service on May 31, 2024.

Next to him is MONTY YIP and his wife Heather. Monty was the first person hired. He had 41 years in when he retired 4 years ago.

At the end of the Table is BOB KERR. Bob retired 2 years ago and was with the company for 38 years.

Across from Bob is former Supervisor Doug Hilton.

Next to Doug is KEITH TRACY, feeder driver for 31 years, retired 4 years ago.  

Next to Keith is Carl Grech. Carl was the third person hired and had 41 years with UPS. Carl retired 4 years ago.

Finally, right up front on the left side is ARNOLD PLUMMER, retired 1 year ago.

These people never had any on road accidents and have been awarded 35-year safe driving awards. 

I wanted to thank these retirees and all our retirees that paved the way to secure all the benefits our UPS members enjoy today.
