Voyago members ratify first agreement

Today, local union #879 negotiating committee members and Business Representative Jim Killey held a ratification meeting for the 370 School Bus drivers and Monitors at Voyago London.

65% of the members in attendance voted in favour of their first agreement. 

The members will receive a 9% wage increase over the 3-year agreement. Included in the company offer were seniority pick on scheduled routes, strong language to protect the members, hands on Union representation and all the safety concerns that were proposed by the membership to name but a few.

The members at Voyago had a strong committee that helped shape the agreement into a document that they can be proud of.
