Trustee of Teamsters 879
Hello all,
My membership with the Teamsters began in 1997 as a AZ driver with Summit Foods Limited, London Ontario, at the time part of Local 141.
It was at Summit where I got my first taste of what a union environment was like.
In 2003 I moved to Hutton Transport in Uniondale Ontario, a company with a long and colorful history within the Teamsters organization.
In 2017, I became alternate steward, and in 2019 moved into the chief steward position.
In January 2022, I was appointed the position of Trustee on Teamsters 879 Executive board to which I feel honored and privileged.
I look forward to working with this great team, and also serving the membership of the local.
