Brothers and sisters,
My membership in the Teamsters family began in 1993 as a part time package handler at UPS. I spent over 25 years there in various classifications and finished my career as a full time driver with 15 years of safe driving.
I was elected Chief Steward in 2011 and continued in that role until October 2018 when I was hired on as a Business Agent for Local 879.
I represent the members at UPS and Purolator, both operations and clerical, from Niagara to Owen Sound.
I was appointed as Secretary Treasurer in 2024 after the retirement of Brother Danny Mitchell.
I currently sit as a Trustee on Local 879’s Industry Advancement Fund, The Hamilton Ready-Mix Pension Plan and the Local 879 Health and Welfare Plan.
I’m looking forward to seeing the Local grow and flourish in the years to come.
