Joe King

My name is Joe King,

I am a Business Representative working out of the London office.

I started my Teamster career out of Local #880 Windsor, Ontario in 1992 as an Owner/Operator for T-Force Final Mile. Sometime after, the Local merged with Local #879 and I became a new member of Local #879.

I have been moving freight for over 30 years, was elected steward in 2003 and have assisted in negotiating 5 collective agreements. In 2016, I had the pleasure of being elected as a Trustee of Local #879’s Executive Board. 

In October 2020, I was hired on as Business Representative working out of the London office. I represent members in many freight companies, as well as a Driver/training school and two casinos.

I obtained my CompTIA IT A+ certificate and hope to be of help for any technology questions.

I look forward to representing all my Teamster members.
